Finasterideis a type of medication that may be prescribed to men who have male pattern baldness. Finasteride is a drug that is used to reduce the size of male baldness, androgenetic alopecia, or male pattern baldness. The drug is used in the treatment of the following hair loss conditions:
Dosageis prescribed to men who have a hereditary form of male-pattern baldness. The dosage is determined by the severity of the condition. It will be based on the individual's medical condition, hair loss, and response to treatment.
